Intact have the pleasure in announcing that multi-faceted DTW Ceramics has placed an order with them for the Intact iQ system.
Portsmouth based DTW, have a proud history within the ceramic tile industry, supplying both local trades and retail customers as well as distributing to Tile Merchants across the UK since 1996. They also boast a large and growing contracting business, A.G. Rutter Ltd which provides supply and fit services to large construction projects. The final element to this exciting enterprise is their incredibly successful website called Target Tiles, supplying retail customers nationwide with their enviable product range.
After enjoying sustained success across the group in recent times, DTW engaged with Intact to discuss the Intact iQ system. Their requirement meant that they needed a package that was both flexible and modern but also functionally deep for their industry and requirements. Intact iQ provides all the elements to supply a Tile Merchant/Distribution business as standard, but also offers a modern REST API for website integration as well as functionality to handle their contracting business.
After reviewing most of the dedicated software suppliers to the Tile Industry, DTW Group opted for Intact iQ from Intact as it provided them one, easy to use, solution for all of their requirements.
Commenting on the order, Andy Rutter, Founder and Managing Director said:
“Intact really have a fantastic product with the Intact iQ system. Our business model here is very varied and we needed a product and supplier who really understood us and could handle all of these elements.
What we have seen in Intact iQ is the ability to automate and streamline many of our existing processes, not only to make us efficient as possible but also to further enhance our reputation for customer service – with notifications and events being relayed to the customer automatically based on rules that we set.
In Intact we found a software partner that really understood what we need and we are all very excited to get the system installed and look forward to gaining the efficiencies and benefits that the Intact iQ system is clearly going to bring to us.”
NOTE: DTW Ceramics originally bought their Intact system from BlueRock Systems, which was acquired by Intact in 2022.
