Intact are pleased to announce sister businesses, HRP Trade Ltd and Direct Heating & Plumbing Merchants as new customers on the iQ system.
HRP Trade is a leading distributor of domestic & commercial boiler spares in the UK and their brand is regularly used by both independent and national merchants nationwide. Offering unrivalled next day service through their website and emailed orders, they have an enviable reputation for service.
Their sister business Direct Heating is a 20-year-old, 5-branch plumbing merchant spread across Essex and Suffolk, supplying local trades people as well as larger contractors. Pride is again placed on service levels and the high standards that their customers have become accustomed to, delivering from London to Lowestoft on their own fleet of vehicles as well as thriving collection businesses at the trade counters.
Moving both organisations to Intact iQ is part of a longer-term strategy to make efficiency savings and dramatically improve productivity from the current setup.
Initially installing 50 users across both businesses, this move is also being timed with a relocation of the HRP Trade business to a new state-of-the-art distribution warehouse on the outskirts of Chelmsford.
