This year Intact Software are delighted to be sponsoring the DkIT Dundalk 10k along with a number of other local businesses. The race, launched recently during ‘Health Week’ at the DkIT, is taking place on the 10th April and follows a local route around Dundalk.
This year’s event again includes the 5k novelty walk for families and novice joggers aimed at opening up the race to a host of new runners. There’s also the Corporate Challenge encouraging businesses to get active. At Intact Software, we’ve already got a number of staff donning their runners and getting stuck into their training.
Speaking at the launch, Derek Crilly, Sports and Society Officer at DkIT and Dundalk 10k lead organiser said:
“We are extremely excited to launch the 2019 Dundalk 10k. With just under 3 months to go until race-day, there is plenty of time to start training for the race. We look forward to welcoming runners, joggers and walkers of all levels and ages on the 10th of April. Don’t miss out on our early bird offer and sign up today!”

As always, a sizeable portion of the race proceeds will go to charity. Women’s Aid and Dundalk Dog Rescue are the chosen charity partners for 2019.
