The Intact Software team recently descended on Croke Park to host a packed Xlerate Customer Conference for the launch of their brand new software product Intact Xline.
On April 25th 2018, over 150 of Intact Vline customers attended the event which was held in the Cusack Suite at the home of the G.A.A in Dublin.
CEO of Intact Software Justin Lawless said, “This event is all about providing our customers with options for their business. Our software, as well as our customer’s businesses, are constantly evolving and we value their feedback on the changes and market pressures that affect how they use our software on a daily basis.
It’s through this feedback that our software can innovate, improve and adapt to the changes in their business processes and how they use the technology. This conference will give us the platform to share our latest innovations and to demonstrate the new technology channels that our latest product Intact Xline can open up to them.”
As always, Group Sales Director Mark McArdle kicked off the event at 9:00 am followed by Intact expert Christina Tres who ran through a list of tips and tricks that will help existing Vline customers to do, what they do, only do it better.
Up next was the much anticipated and highly controversial subject of GDPR with Paul Prenty, in which Paul adequately explained in simplified terms what GDPR is, why it exists and how our customers need to approach this issue.
He also provided a demonstration of the new GDPR features contained within all Intact Software products that allow customers to easily remain compliant when handling customer data on their system.
Justin Lawless took the stage to Introduce Intact Xline, Intact Software’s latest product and to speak about the great ‘Digital Divide’ which now exists between technologies old and new, and how customers businesses can benefit from taking advantage of the latest features and functionality contained in modern software.
Intact Xline expert, Trevor Larkin followed Justin’s thought-provoking presentation with a demonstration on the ease of navigation contained within the new Intact Xline product, before Intact Co-Founder Paul Marry spoke on the subject of Enterprise Mobility and the important role that the Intact Access mobile app and mobile devices in general now have to play in modern-day business scenarios.
As the quickfire talks and presentations kept the audience engaged and the tempo consistent, attendees had the chance to use their own mobiles to add questions using Slido for two Q&A sessions.
After a short break for networking and refreshments, Mark McArdle covered the important role that e-commerce has to play for businesses in the modern age, followed by Pro-serve consultant and (e-commerce expert) Philip Hynes who covered the Intact Cliqx e-commerce solution and in particular its ease of integration with Magento sites.
Trevor Larkin was welcomed back to the stage along with Intact Operations Director Gary Masonto run through some more of the new Intact Xline features and functionality.
The Intact software customer training academy which is hosted regularly both in our UK Office in Hemel and also in our Dundalk HQ was overviewed by Tracey Deans who talked through just some of the training that is receiving rave reviews and is available to all Intact customers.
Speeding towards the conference close, Brigid Marmion our Development Process Managerexplained the Intact Online Ideation Forum and the process through which submitted ideas can be voted on by other forum members and then taken through to the development stage. Within this portal, all users can see which ideas are up for future consideration or have actually been accepted to the backlog and are in progress.
Last but by no means least, Chief Technical Officer and Intact Co-Founder Aidan Lawless who has lived and breathed the Intact Xline product from inception right through it’s development, talked about its roadmap and what plans lie ahead for Intact Xline even though its still only in its infancy.
He spoke of how Intact Xline will provide customers with a suite of cross-platform products such as the aforementioned Intact Cliqx (e-commerce) and Intact Access (mobile) as well as Intact Analyst for those who like to analyse and drill down into their data.
Mark McArdle took the stage for the last time for a Q&A session and to thank all for attending the event. Attendees were then treated to a large healthy lunch and any guests who wished to take the G.A.A museum tour took a trip downstairs with a dedicated tour guide.
Those who wanted to beat the rush-hour traffic left the event satisfied with yet another informative day at an extremely well run and successful event for Intact Software.
Preparations are currently underway for the Intact Software Xlerate, UK Customer Conference which will take place in May 2018.
