Can you describe a typical day in your position at Intact?
I specialise in API and other iQ integrations. There is A LOT of troubleshooting, trial & error, and Postman (not the one who comes to your door!).
What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
We'd worry a lot less what other people think of us when we realise how seldom they do.
What's your hidden talent that none of your colleagues know about?
I can play the piano to a grade 8 level. I never took the exam though. Too much time playing scales, not enough music!
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I’m almost entirely deaf in my left ear, so having supersonic hearing would be life changing. If superpowers can’t fix my existing problems, then I’ll go for teleportation instead. Saves me the two hour drive to Hemel!

What's the most rewarding part of your job when it comes to serving our customers?
There's nothing better than finding the solution to a complex problem. I love the satisfaction that comes with fixing things.
What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done?
I met a friend when I got there but, travelling to and from New Zealand on my own was exciting and terrifying in equal parts!
If you could swap lives for a day with any person past or present, who would it be?
This one is tough. Maybe Roger Federer, or a pianist called Stephen Hough, to experience what it’s like to be that good at my hobbies. I'll go for something different to all my other answers and say Yuri Gagarin in 1961 when he became the first man to orbit the Earth.
